Install in three steps

Download the add-in
Get the Formula Audit XL installer (an .xlam Excel add-in) for Windows.

Open Excel & enable macros
Run the installer and restart Excel; enable macros if prompted. The Formula Audit tab appears in your ribbon.

Start auditing
Open any workbook and run Model Check, explore a formula, or map your cells, right from the ribbon.
System requirements
- Microsoft Excel for Windows: 2016, 2019, 2021 or Microsoft 365
- Windows 10 or 11 (desktop Excel)
- Delivered as an .xlam add-in; macros must be enabled
- Not compatible with Excel for Mac or Excel on the web
